About us
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. At CYEL, we want to take you on a journey from being unhealthy to living a life devoted to health. I grew up in a small town in Arkansas, where my earliest memories were of enjoying my time as a youth being outdoors, running around and having fun. When I was about 15 and wasn’t as active, I knew that I had to do something to improve my health. I started exercising with weights and going for bike rides with my friends.

Our philosophy
After finishing high school, I stayed committed to my wellness journey. Over time, I built a routine that worked for me: morning exercise routines. My journey wasn’t perfect, but it was real—and it taught me that you don’t need a degree to live a life devoted to health. You just need curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to grow. As an Adult I believe that physical health and mental health are inseparable. I ran one Los Angeles marathon in year 2000, occasionally jog, lifted weights, practiced yoga, and was vegan for a few years.
I am not perfect, but there are times when you feel like you haven’t done enough, or you gain more weight than you would like to. But just learn to listen to your body, and that the better part of life of being health is a long-term goal.
